Our Story
Summer Soul Surf Camp is a summer experience unlike any other in south Orange County. Summer Soul Surf Camp has been operating for over 18 years.
Our well rounded programs are designed for boys and girls ages 9 to 16. Campers learn about important topics like ocean safety, physical fitness and healthy eating while surfing and enjoying fun beach activities. Instructors are experienced watermen and women who share a passion for surfing and surf instruction.
Camp Owner and Director - Josh Baxter
Josh Baxter, is a 3-time US longboarding champion who has surfed all over the world, winning major contests in Hawaii, the US, and France. He brings over 40 years of surfing experience and 20 years of surfing instruction. Josh was born in Hawaii and comes from a legendary surfing family. His father, Jackie Baxter, was a pioneer in big wave surfing in Hawaii in the early 1970's. Josh enjoys being a dad to two beautiful daughters.
